Our Story

ReCreate Life Handyman is a home improvement company serving customers in NW San Antonio, and it is owned and operated by Ted and Anna Thevaos.

Ted has been doing home improvement projects for 30 years, starting with a high-end shed he built for his parents. Then he built a fence for his grandparents and did all his own home maintenance.

Ted and Anna were inspired by DIYers on TV and tackled two home remodels while they lived in them. These remodels were complete cosmetic fix-ups that modernized these nineties homes and brought them into the modern farmhouse twenty-first century. And their sons Timothy and Joshua were there learning and helping along the journey.

At their current remodeled house, Ted built a music studio in the backyard. That’s the picture on the right.

The most recent commercial project remodel that Ted completed was for LifeShare Church, the church he and Anna founded and pastor here in San Antonio (www.LifeShare.church | www.Butterfly.coffee).

Going out into nature and resting allows a person to recreate life in their soul. In the same way, improving a home also recreates the life of the home for the homeowner.
